Large Refrigerator

A large, wide refrigerator will fit in some kitchens, but not others.

Would a Large Fridge Look Right in Your Kitchen?

What parts should you focus on to really liven up your kitchen? Normally, just updating your main appliances can make a huge difference. For example, many people put an antique stove in the room to add a conversation piece and be unique. You don’t have to go this far, but it’s an option. Think of the other items you can work with. If you have a boring old toaster, why not bump it up to a convection toaster oven? These extremely powerful tools can sit on the counter top or be mountable, so you can really put it anywhere. They can be black or white or stainless steel, whatever matches your kitchen. The appeal of them is how well they warm up food, without compromising or ruining the texture of the item, as microwaves sometimes do. Check out what Oster, Cuisinart, Kitchenaid, or Black & Decker have to offer if you’re interested.

After that, there’s still one huge thing you can update. If you guessed the refrigerator, you’re right. Considering all the styles they come in, it’s almost impossible not to find a more modern one you like. Maybe you have one of the old school freezer on top, fridge on bottom setups. You’d grow to love a side by side setup. Or, if you’re really brave, you can try the French door model. These types have the freezer on the bottom for easier access and improved space for fridge items. Samsung, GE, LG, Electrolux, Bosch, and HotPoint all make both of these types. Of course, we still have even touched on the large fridges with glass doors or the counter depth styles yet.

While you have the refrigerator fever, think about where else you could use a fridge. They are very convenient outdoors under a counter or to hold just wine. Maybe you have a student going away to college very soon. They could really use a mini, compact, or portable fridge.

So think about the things you can do with the appliances in your kitchen. It’s a relatively cheap and inexpensive way to really make a nice change.
