Save Space in Your Laundry Room with an Outdoor Clothes Dryer
Many people are not aware of all the options there are for successfully completing your laundry. Considering it’s a task that most people dread, why not make it as seamless as possible? For example, why not save yourself a lot of money by collecting coupons? You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can go through supplies like soap, detergent, and fabric softener, and the cost to replace them can add up before you know it. Another way to save is to make your own liquid detergent. It’s easy, will save you in the long run, and your clothes won’t know the difference.
What about the machines? Can you save much money there? Yes, you can get excellent discounts on washers and dryers. The easiest way is to purchase them used. A lot of people are leery about this because they fear the machines will break down right after. This is a valid concern, but if you get a Maytag, Whirlpool, or Kenmoore, you will not have to worry. These companies have built their machines to last for years, and many people will testify to that fact. Just be sure that your plugs match the outlet in your residence. Normally, older models will not fit newer residences, and vice versa. If you do get the wrong plugs, though, you can still fix it. It just requires some careful wire and plug switching.
To take your savings further, you can actually replace your
drying machine by putting up a retractable clothes line or using a wooden
collapsible drying rack. These use no electricity and are extremely
inexpensive, though they will not get your clothes as dry and not nearly as
fast. However, they are very viable options for anyone with money and or space
constraints. If you just want to save space, you should get an outdoor clothes dryer.
If you want to really buckle down and get a nice pair of machines, there are options for you as well. Samsung, GE, LG, and Electrolux make very fancy appliances designed to be the top of their class. They have both front loading and top loading models, though you’ll typically see the front loaders because they tend to use less water. The more expensive models also usually have more space inside the unit without being too large on the outside.
